Scholarships

The International Student Leadership Scholarship is dedicated to awarding partial or full scholarships to selected students from a variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. These scholarships were created to support children who might otherwise not have the opportunity to benefit from our high quality international education.

The level of scholarship awarded is based on financial need. They cover a proportion of ISH school fees and include all educational resources. There is no repayment obligation.

Eligibility

Scholarships are awarded to students entering either Grade 10 or 11. Candidates must have permanent residential status in Finland. They must also fulfill the school’s admissions requirements. Families are asked to provide proof of financial need.

Qualities of Successful Candidates

The qualities of successful candidates that the selection committee will identify are:

• An international outlook
• The ability to excel within the IB Diploma Programme
• Evidence of student leadership
• Willingness to contribute to the wider community
• A high level of oral and written proficiency in English
